Webcertain is seeking a Front-end Developer with an interest in developing their code and design skills to provide support on a diverse and challenging range of internal and client projects. As part of this dynamic department in an international digital marking agency, the successful candidate will combine technical know-how with creative flair to create engaging and innovative work and develop their skills and expertise.

Key Accountabilities:

· Translate visual prototypes into launch-ready code

· Create code for responsive website concepts across mobile, desktop and tablet

· Develop, test and learn strategies to frequently improve sites with the use of HTML and CSS

· Create graphics and code that adhere to style and brand identities

· Test and troubleshoot pages on multiple browsers and platforms

· Collaborate with other team members, backend development developers & stakeholders

· Project manage development projects working closely with external developers

· Work closely with the internal marketing department and account managers to understand briefs and bring them to life.

Skills and attributes required:

Essential:

· Have proficient understanding of HTML and CSS

· Have a good understanding of JavaScript

· Good understanding of PHP and MYSQL

· Ability to fully understand and interpret a design brief

· Understanding of responsive design, UX design and UI design

· Be comfortable building components for CMS systems (WordPress, Optimizely etc.)

· Interest in digital marketing

· Ability to work to tight deadlines

· Attention to detail

· Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and prioritise urgent tasks

· Good team player

· Committed to staying up-to-date on trends and techniques

Desirable:

· Experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator)

· Interest in image editing/optimization

· Knowledge banners and social design

· Native level proficiency of a second language

Salary: £24.000 - £27.000 per annum.

Spain: Remote/Office

The post-holder will be placed on the salary scale according to their experience.
